Terms of Service

Effective August 24, 2026

This English version and the Simplified Chinese version describe the same terms. If a translation differs, the English version controls to the extent permitted by law.

Dinorun is emulator software only. It does not include, sell, download or distribute game ROMs or copyrighted game data.

1. Agreement

These terms apply to the Dinorun website, software, license delivery, activation and customer support. By purchasing, downloading, activating or using Dinorun, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not purchase or use the software.

2. Product

Dinorun is an independent Windows x64 desktop arcade runtime for designated compatible profiles. DINOPIC2 is the primary supported profile. DINOHB is experimental and may contain compatibility or behavior differences.

3. License grant

A completed purchase grants one user a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use Dinorun on one activated computer. The software is licensed, not sold. Updates or replacement versions are not promised unless expressly stated with the purchase.

4. Offline activation

Each computer creates its own machine request code. The activation code and license are bound to that computer and cannot be reused on another computer. Reinstallation on the same computer may still require reasonable verification or support. A material hardware change may be treated as a different computer.

Activation and support requests are handled manually. We aim to respond within three business days, but delivery time may vary because of time zones, identity checks, fraud review or incomplete information.

5. Customer-supplied game data

No ROMs, game archives, copyrighted game data or download sources are supplied. You are solely responsible for obtaining and using compatible data lawfully. Failure to obtain compatible legal data is not a software defect.

6. Permitted use and restrictions

You may use Dinorun for lawful personal use on the activated computer. You may not resell, sublicense, rent, share or transfer the license or activation code; bypass license controls; distribute modified copies; use the software to distribute infringing data; or use it for unlawful purposes. Statutory rights that cannot legally be excluded remain unaffected.

7. System responsibility

You are responsible for a compatible Windows x64 computer, graphics and input hardware, legally obtained game data, security software settings and backups. Windows SmartScreen or antivirus software may warn because the current application is not code-signed or uses executable protection. Publisher-provided SHA-256 values should be used to verify downloads.

8. Support

Primary support is available at leehonxuan@gmail.com. Backup support is available at 38784757@qq.com. Include your order number and a description of the problem. Never send game ROMs, payment-card details, passwords or unrelated sensitive data.

9. Payments and delivery

Payments are processed by the payment provider shown at checkout, currently PayPal. The provider's payment, refund, dispute and tax terms may also apply. Dinorun is responsible for delivering its own software installer and, after payment verification, handling the machine-bound license request. A payment confirmation page does not by itself prove that a payment has cleared.

10. Refunds

Purchases are subject to the separate Refund Policy. Digital delivery and machine-bound activation generally make completed purchases final, subject to the exceptions stated in that policy, the payment provider's terms and mandatory law.

11. Intellectual property and third-party names

Rights in the original Dinorun software, documentation and branding belong to their respective owner. Third-party product, company and game names remain the property of their respective owners and are used only to describe compatibility. Dinorun is not affiliated with, authorized, sponsored or endorsed by Capcom.

12. Warranty and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dinorun is provided “as is” without warranties beyond those expressly stated. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation on every hardware, driver, antivirus or Windows configuration. Liability will not exceed the amount paid for the affected license, except where applicable law does not allow that limitation.

13. Suspension and termination

A license may be suspended or terminated for fraud, chargeback abuse, license sharing, circumvention, unlawful use or a material breach of these terms. Obligations concerning intellectual property, payment, liability and records survive termination where applicable.

14. Changes and contact

These terms may be updated for product, provider or legal changes. Material changes apply prospectively unless law requires otherwise. Questions should be sent to leehonxuan@gmail.com (primary) or 38784757@qq.com (backup).
